Tired of porch pirates stealing your parcel deliveries? Get a secure Loxx Boxx and have your couriers drop them inside it instead of just leaving them on your porch. The steel chest connects to your Wi-Fi network—there’s an LTE model if your router is out of range—and it opens with either a master code or one based on the last four digits of each package’s tracking number.

We reviewed the smaller of the two models and came away impressed with its build quality, sophistication, and ease of use. We gave it our Editors’ Choice award. It operates on rechargeable batteries and has a numeric keypad on its lid.

The purchase price includes one month of service, after which you’ll need to sign up for a $4-per-month subscription ($6/mo for the LTE model) to have Loxx Boxx capture tracking numbers from common carriers (including FedEx, UPS, and the U.S. Postal Service) and automatically download them to the box over your wireless connection.

Now for the deals: Now through the end of October Prime Days, the $349 price of the large-size Loxx Boxx has been slashed to $249, a savings of $100. The extra-large Loxx Boxx gets an 18 percent discount and is marked down from $399 to $329, a $70 savings.

You will find, however, that you’ll need to jump through some hoops to get either deal, due to what Loxx Boxx tells us is a glitch in Amazon’s website. To order the large Loxx Boxx, click on the preceding link and choose the color you want to purchase (that link will default to matte grey, but you can choose gloss red, matte brown, or matte green before you make your purchase).

Once you’ve made your color choice, click on the button on the right-hand side of the page that reads “See All Buying Options” (ignore the message that reads “No featured offers available”). Click on the “Add to Cart” button in the box that pops up (you should see the $249.00 sale price), and then proceed with your purchase as usual.

This is the first time we’ve seen either Loxx Boxx model priced this low. This is a great deal on a great product.
