Our Verdict
The Vactidy Blitz V8 Pro is a flexible cordless vacuum that makes it easy to tackle quick cleanups and whole-house vacuuming.
As its name suggests, the Vactidy Blitz V8 Blitz Pro is an advanced version of the Blitz V8 we reviewed last year. Just about every feature and component is upgraded on this model, including the floor brush, suction power, and filtration system.
Let’s start at the top. The V8 Blitz Pro’s body has been upgraded with a 160W two-speed motor, up from the V8’s 130W motor, with the Max suction bumped up to 25,000 Pa from the V8’s 20,000 Pa.
With its easy maneuverability and self-standing design, the V8 Blitz Pro can be a welcome help around the house.
It includes a four-layer cyclone filtration system—cyclone separation, stainless steel, multi-cyclone, and H10 HEPA—that can filter dust as small as 0.1 microns.
The V8 Blitz Pro also adds a touch display, a feature that’s missing from the V8 Blitz.
Floor brush upgrades
The other notable improvements have been made to the floor brush. It doubles its predecessor’s LED headlights to four to better illuminate dirt in dark areas. The roller brush uses a combination of bristles and an adhesive strip to grab more dust.
Best of all, the floor brush hinge has been designed so that the vacuum can stand freely wherever you place it when you tilt it up to 90 degrees. This was easily my favorite feature during testing, and here’s why.

You operate the vacuum and its cleaning modes from its touch display.

You see, cordless vacuums are notoriously bad at staying upright when you lean them against a wall or anything else for support. For that reason, most come with a wall bracket to secure the vacuum when it’s not in use. These brackets have to be mounted to the wall, which isn’t always possible or desirable. The convenience of being able to stand the vacuum up anywhere when you have to pause a cleaning job–or when you’re done and want to stow it away–shouldn’t be underestimated.
Operation and attachments
To operate the vacuum, you simply press the power button on the touch display once for Eco mode, twice for max mode, and a third time to shut the vacuum off. The display also has a simple battery-level indicator similar to the one on your cell phone. The vacuum’s 2200 mAh rechargeable battery will give you about 35 minutes of runtime in Eco mode and 15 minutes in Max mode.
The floor attachment swivels 180 degrees sideways and 90 degrees up and down, making it easier to reach all the places conventional stand-up vacs struggle with: between table and chair legs, under furniture and cabinets, and around corners. That easy maneuverability makes vacuuming a much less burdensome task, whether you’re doing a whole-house cleaning or just quick spot clean.
In addition to the floor brush, you can vacuum using a 2-in-1 brush or a long crevice tool. These can be attached to the extension tube to reach high or hard-to-reach places or directly to the body to convert the V8 Blitz Pro into a hand vacuum.
In either configuration, the vacuum’s light weight—the main body, which is the heaviest component, weighs just 3.3 pounds—ensures you finish a job without wearing out your arm.

After cleaning, you can just hold the dust bin over a garbage can and press the release button to open its bottom lid. Gravity does most of the work getting the debris out, although I often had to reach in to manually extract clumps of pet hair.
Vactidy recommends you clean the HEPA filter every two weeks and replace it every two months; a spare filter is included with the vacuum and additional ones can be purchased from the Vactidy website.
Should you buy the Vactidy V8 Blitz Pro?
I enjoyed using the V8 Blitz Pro for daily maintenance of my home’s high-foot-traffic areas. Its nimbleness was incentive enough to pull it out for even the smallest of messes, and thanks to its self-standing design, it was easy to tuck into a corner between jobs.
Its shortcomings are the usual ones for a cordless vacuum—small dustbin, short runtime—but if you can live with those, the V8 Blitz Pro can be a welcome help around the house.
