Indoor air quality monitors aren’t the only smart home products SwitchBot has to show off at IFA 2024 in Berlin. The smart home device manufacturer also unveiled a 3-in-1 vacuum system, smart roller shades, and a pair of air purifiers–including one that doubles as a nightstand.
SwitchBot K10+ Pro Combo vacuum system

The SwitchBot K10 Pro Combo combines the company’s ultra-small robot vacuum with a cordless stick vac. Both tools empty their dustbins into the same base.
SwitchBot
SwitchBot has taken the K10+ Pro Mini robot vacuum and added a cordless stick vac that uses a modified version of that bot’s auto-emptying base station to come up with the SwitchBot K10+ Pro Combo vacuum system.
The manufacturer describes the K10+ Pro as “the world’s smallest robot vacuum.” Since robot vacs can’t be used on furniture or to suck down cobwebs on the ceiling, adding a cordless stick vac to the package renders it a more complete cleaning system. The all-new FusionBase charging station that can empty the dustbins from both appliances provides the third element in SwitchBot’s “3-in-1 home vacuuming solution.” Unfortunately for those who’ve already purchased a K10+ Pro, its base station does not work with the new stick vac.
SwitchBot says the base station’s 3-liter dust bag should require emptying just once every 70 days. The ultra-compact, dual-purpose base should be a boon for smaller domiciles, since it has a footprint smaller than an A4 sheet of paper. Measuring 8.27 x 11.69 inches (210 x 297mm), it’s slightly larger than an 8.5 x 11-inch U.S. letter.
The SwitchBot K10+ Pro Combo is available for pre-order now, with an asking pricing of $799.99.

SwitchBot Air Purifier and Air Purifier Table

This multi-purpose air purifier can double as an end table or nightstand, complete with a Qi charger. The non-table version looks virtually identical, less that tabletop.

Speaking of multi-function appliances, SwitchBot is showing two new air purifiers at IFA this year, and one of them can also function as a side table or nightstand. The aptly named SwitchBot Air Purifier Table has a columnar form factor, with an integrated LED nightlight and table on top of that—with an embedded Qi charger for Android and iOS devices no less.
Both this model and the more conventional air purifier feature three-layer filters with a washable pre-filter, an activated carbon filter, and a HEPA filter to remove up to 99.97 percent of airborne particles, according to the manufacturer. Both devices have clean air delivery (CADR) rate of 236 cubic feet per minute (400 cubic meters per hour), making the air purifier suitable for cleaning the air in larger rooms.
Buyers who also own one of SwitchBot’s Matter-certified hubs will be able to integrate the air purifiers into their smart homes. You can pre-order the SwitchBot Air Purifier Table now for $269.99. The more conventional SwitchBot Air Purifier, $219.99, is also available for pre-order.
SwitchBot adjustable roller shade

SwitchBot says the width of its smart roller shades can be adjusted from 22.8 to 72.8 inches.
SwitchBot
Now this is a product I’ll need to experience before I can fully understand it: SwitchBot says it has “the world’s first adjustable and fabric replaceable smart roller shade.” The company says the shade’s width can be adjusted from 22.8 to 72.8 inches to ensure a precise fit. Not only that, but you can replace its fabric to match your room’s décor.
I can mostly wrap my head around the concept of a width-adjustable roller shade, although I’m curious if—and if so, how—the motor will adjust its torque to compensate for narrower widths, but how will you go about cutting the fabric when you change the size of the roller?
In any event, SwitchBot says the roller shade will be available with options such as 100-percent blackout fabric for privacy protection, UV protection, and thermal insulation. The shade is operable via the SwitchBot app, voice commands, or remote control. It can also be integrated into the major smart home platforms through Matter, although that will require you also have one of SwitchBot’s smart home hubs.
SwitchBot expects to fetch $199.99 for the SwitchBot adjustable roller shade, which is available for pre-order now.
As mentioned above, SwitchBot also announced a pair of indoor air quality monitors ahead of the show.
