The Samsung Galaxy Camera, the first app-centric camera to run on 3G and 4G networks, debuts on AT&T on Nov. 16 for $500. The Galaxy Camera resembles a standard pocket point-and-shoot, but it has both Wi-Fi and wireless capability for photo-sharing and Web-surfing on the go.
You don’t need to buy a data plan with the camera, but AT&T is also offering subscribers a deal: If you buy two Samsung smartphones or cameras, you’ll receive $100 off the second device with a two-year contract.
To wirelessly download apps and share photos on social networks on AT&T’s platform, however, you’ll need to purchase one of the carrier’s four data plans.
AT&T’s Mobile Share data plan, which lets you spread data across multiple devices, is $10 to share between 1GB and 20GB. The shared plans cost $15 per additional GB spread across up to 10 devices. The carrier also offers standard data plans, including 250MB for $15, 3GB for $30, and 5GB for $50.

Samsung first announced the Galaxy Camera, with its 4.8-inch LCD, at the end of August but until last month hadn’t named a carrier.
The camera runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which lets you download useful apps from Instagram to Dropbox from Google Play.
