Raycon has forged a unique path in the personal audio business, depending on social media marketing, influencers, and late-night TV spots to connect with an enthusiastic audience who appreciates the company’s affordable earbuds, headphones, speakers, and accessories. For CES 2024, the company is announcing its new Everyday Pro series headphones and earbuds that will each sell for $149.
Many of those television commercials starred Raycon co-founder Ray J., famous as an actor, R&B singer, brother of Brandy, cousin of Snoop Dogg, and both producer and co-star of the notorious Kim Kardashian, Superstar video. Ray has almost 3 million followers on Instagram, 3 million on Facebook, and 1.5 million on X (formerly Twitter), so he knows a thing or two about viral content.
The new push is being fronted by CEO and Raycon co-founder Ray Lee, a first-name coincidence that explains the company’s name. These are the most expensive products that Raycon has ever released, mostly because the company has added the hybrid active noise cancellation that has become the standard for quality headphones and earbuds.

Raycon
Much of the brand’s appeal is based on its striking and uncomplicated design. Raycon headphones look like far more expensive models from Sony or Bose. They also understand that their audience is basing its buying decisions on word-of-mouth and the reactions of listeners in their social media videos, so they’re not pitching their gear with in-depth descriptions of the drivers and other technical specs.
The company does rightfully tout details about its battery performance. The Everyday Pro over-ear headphones provide up to 60 hours of playtime with ANC off and 44 hours with it on. The Everyday Pro earbuds deliver 10 hours on a charge with a total of 40 hours from a fully charged case. Users can get an addition 1.5 hours from a 10-minute quick charge.
Each unit offers Multipoint Bluetooth connection capability, allowing users to connect to two devices a once. Both the headphones and earbuds offer hands-free voice control via Alexa or Siri.
The new Everyday Pro models are available in electric blue, black, and white. The earbuds feature a prominent Raycon logo the side, but the over-ear headphones have a low-key image of the company name Raycon on the headband. The headphones come with a charging cable and audio cable for wired listening, but there’s no bag or hard-sided case.
The Everyday Earbuds Pro includes five sets of gel tips and three memory foam tips. The Everyday Headphones Pro earcups feature comfortable foam and leather materials in their removable and easy-to-wash cushions.
