Narwal, a leading innovator in high-end home robotics, has announced it will unveil a trio of floor cleaners at CES 2024, expanding its lineup of intelligent home cleaning solutions. The latest additions include the Narwal Freo X Ultra and Narwal Freo X Plus, which it touts as the most advanced and silent vacuum mops, and the versatile upright Narwal S10 Pro.
Due in March, both the premium Freo X Ultra ($1,499) and its budget-friendly counterpart Freo X Plus ($469) feature a unique U-shaped air duct that (unlike conventional curved ducts) allows the robot to maintain continuous, high-speed airflow, thus preventing debris from collecting around and clogging the inlet.
Each robot can achieve fan rotational speeds of up to 60,000 RPM (more than double the industry average of 24,000 RPM), and produce 8,200 Pa and 7,800 Pa of suction, respectively.

Narwal’s flagship Freo X Ultra features a floating brush that’s been aerodynamically engineered to create airflows that prevent hair tangles.

To ensure all the debris they suck up actually gets into their dust bags, both robots employ a floating brush that’s been aerodynamically engineered to create airflows that prevent hair tangles. Tilted at 50 degrees, the brush’s cone-shaped rubber strips direct air to the sides to prevent hair strands from wrapping around the middle of the brush, instead pushing them to the left where they’re sucked into the dust bag through an enlarged outlet.
For wet cleaning, both vacuums feature Narwal’s Reuleaux triangular mops, which apply 12N of downward pressure and rotate at 180 RPM, allowing them to scrub floors in a manner similar to commercial floor cleaners.
Both bots also include Narwal’s EdgeSwing feature, which automatically rotates the robot back and forth to better reach around and into corners and crevices, while Narwal’s AI-powered DirtSense technology targets your dirtiest floors for additional cleaning passes.

The budget-priced Freo X Plus shares many of the Freo X Ultra’s vacuuming and mopping features but without the self-cleaning station.

The robots navigate using tri-laser obstacle avoidance with LiDAR SLAM 4.0 Integration and can be controlled with the Narwal app or with voice commands via Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri. Additionally, the Narwal Freo X Ultra can be controlled via a touchscreen on its base station.
The company will also introduce the S10 Pro at CES. With a dustbin and clean- and dirty-water tanks, the handheld wet-dry vacuum is equipped for double-duty cleaning. Its mop is served by 32 running water streams that produce 17N mopping pressure, while its vacuum rates at 76AW suction efficiency.

The Narwal S10 Pro is wet-dry vacuum that automatially cleans itself when it’s done cleaning floors.

Narwal says the S10 Pro has a 99.99-percent disinfection rate and automatically separates solid and liquid waste for easy disposal. After cleaning is complete, the combo vacuum and mop automatically scrubs, cleans, dries, and disinfects the roller brush, pipes, and filters within its charging station. The S10 Pro will be available in April for $449.
We hope to get more details about all three floor cleaners once CES is underway. Look for in-depth reviews of the products closer to their release.
