Eureka, the vacuum brand that has helped Americans clean their homes for more than 100 years, will showcase its latest innovation at CES: the J20 2-in-1 robotic vacuum and mop, which the company says has been engineered to scrub stubborn spots with three times the force of traditional mopping robots.
The J20’s unique mopping system includes dual water tanks built right into the robot and a cycling belt mop design. As the robot cleans, five nozzles continuously provide fresh water for the mop, which applies 20N pressure to the floor. Simultaneously, a scraper beneath the robot guides dirty water from the mop into the onboard wastewater tank. Eureka says this enables the J20 to clean more like a conventional floor washer while also ensuring a hygienic cleaning experience.

The J20’s vacuum boasts 8,000 Pa of suction power with four suction levels. When it detects carpet, the robot automatically boosts its suction and flips its mop to a non-fabric side to prevent the carpet from getting wet. Its 3D obstacle avoidance feature incorporates laser navigation and detection, which allows the vac to quickly understand home layouts and identify obstacles over 4.5 cm in height.
The robot cleaner comes with an automated base station that collects dirty water from the robot’s wastewater tank, washes and dries its mop, refills its clean water tank and adds detergent, and empties its dustbin.
The station is equipped with 1.5-liter tanks for clean and dirty water as well as a 3-liter dust bag, which Eureka says ensures up to 75 days of hands-free use. A ventilation system is built into the base station to provide continuous air circulation in the dust bag compartment to prevent odor buildup.
